chongqing weather in march

Question

We plan to visit  in March next year and will travel along 3 gorges dams to Yichang. Beside by plane, what is the best way to travel back to the city? Any recommended/interesting sites to visit after the way back from Yichang to CQ? Which location of hotel recommended to stay in CQ with shopping malls, walking street and abundance of local eateries around?Thank you.

In March, it is quite cool and windy at that time. The average temp is about 60 – 62 F, good for travel. The best mode must be taking a bullet train from Yihcang East Railway Station to CQ North Railway Station. You can also visit the Hongya Cave, Ciqikou, CQ Zoo, Chaotianmen port, Yangtze cable car and etc.If you wanting with area with shopping malls, walking street and eatery, you are suggested to stay in Jiefangbei area. It is the ideal place for these.
