About:Chinese Embassy in Antigua & Barbuda

several questions: Canadian studying in St.Kitts

On the application, For section 1.19 and 3.8, I would like to type “NONE” or “N/A” but the electronic form doesn’t let me type anything else than numbers or dates. Is it okay if I leave them as blanks? (Since handwritten answers are not considered)

For 2.6, I will be staying at the same hotel during my stay from Aug 30, 2015 to Sep 04, 2015. The electronic form did not let me type in “2015-08-30 – 2015-09-04” so I typed it in two different rows with the same address (as 8-30 with the hotel address on one column and 09-04 with the same address on another row). Is this okay? For itinerary, do you require anything else than my hotel address?

I was going to apply for Single entry ($30) but when I emailed the embassy, they told me that The visa offices of the P.R.CHINA will issue to Canada citizens multiple-entry ones that are valid for up to 10 years and that the fee is 100USD. Could you please confirm this? Also, I was wondering if the 1.07 USD service fee should be included on the cheque (like 101.07USD)?

I am a Canadian citizen who is attending vet school in St.Kitts. Is the “enrollment verification” signed and stamped by the school considered as the proof of legal stay in St.Kitts? If not, what kind of document do you want me to submit?

Do I have to make an appointment for the mailed application too? or do I just mail it?

Please confirm the following address: P. O. Box 1446, Mckninnons Way, St. John's, Antigua, W.I. I was also wondering if the Fedex go to the PO box?

Thank you so much.

Jin Lee, I downloaded the application form (PDF version) and filled N/A in section 1.19 (zip code) successfully. It's also ok to type N/A (None) in section 3.8. As the instructions claim, you need to type N/A if some items don't apply. So I don't think it's a good idea to leave them as blanks.

If you can't type "2015-08-30 - 2015-09-04", you actually can try to type "from August 30 to September 4, 2015". I tried and it worked. Please check if you install adobe reader on your computer.

Yes, 10 years multiple-entry ones are issued to Canadians. And you are right. You should pay 101.07 USD via your cheque.

I am afraid that enrollment verification isn't enough. It requires your valid resident permit for study or visa in St.Kitts.

According to what I know, Chinese embassies don't accept mail applications anymore. You have to submit your application on your own assign your friends, colleagues, families or an agency to submit instead of you.
