from nanjing south train station to olympic stadium

i want to travel from shanghai to the city to go Olympic stadium. what is the best way? it seems the station from shanghai is south station, is this station near stadium? if it's not what is the best way to go there? tnx in advanced

Yes, the south railway station is the nearer one. Take subway line 1, get off at Andemen Station. Then transfer to line 10 to Yuantong Station and take line 2 to Olympic Stadium East Station, Exit 2. After arriving, walk northeast around 300 yards. Or you can take a taxi from the south railway station directly. The cab fare is CNY 30 to 40 in the day time.
