About the transportation to Gubeikou Great Wall, there is no direct transportation. You need to transfer. Take a cab to Dongzhimen Bus Station first. It costs around CNY 25. Then get a coach, get off at Miyun County Bus Station first. After that, you can find many minibuses that can take you to Gubeikou.

You can make the round trip in one day. It's suggested to catch the coach at around 08:30. In this way, you will have enough time to tour around. Then catch the bus at around 17:00 and return back.
