About:Guangzhou Metro

Outlying Attractions Outside Guangzhou

We will be in GZ from 15 to 19 July 2015. Apart from the sightseeing there, what day trips would you recommend to us to do outside of the city?

You can also go to Shenzhen and visit the Window of the world, Splendid China, Happy Valley and do some shopping at the local Dongmen Pedestrian Street.

Zhuhai is a beautiful city that has several popular scenic areas, such as New Yuanming Palace and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. You can take a train from GZ South Railway Station to get to Zhuhai Railway Station directly. It only takes around an hour on the way. The transportation is convenient. You can go and tour around that city. Have fun!

You may also consider Zhongshan, where the lightings are the highlights and the Guzhen is a must-see, or Foshan, where the ceramics and several large furniture cities attract many people.
