24 hour free transit visa for Nanjing

Hi There. Just to confirm, do South African citizens need a transit type to leave the airport on a layover in Nanjing? Or does the free 24 hour free transit apply for Nanjing as well as Beijing and Shanghai?

Hey, Michelle! The 24-hour direct transit policy applies to Nanjing, so you don't need to get the G type entry permit.
