should the flooring be the same level with all parts of the house?

hi! we are currently renovating the house and decided to elavate the flooring because everytime it rains heavy, the water usually reaches our kitchen floor.  Currently, the master bedroom has higher level and we are thinking not to do the same level in the living and dining to save cost as well. Thanks

Reina, according to Fengshui theories, the floors of the kitchen and bathroom should be lower than the floors of the bedroom and living room. May I know how the train reaches your kitchen? from the window? If so, you should remember to close the window after you finish cooking.
