VOA Zhuhai vs Shenzhen

Jayson from America

Going to Hong Kong from Thailand for 1 week. Want to visit Macau and mainland China 1 day. What's the difference between Zhuhai vs SZ. Zhuhai would be convenient once I'm in Macau but it is worth it to try and eneter via SZ?

How long is it from Kowloon to SZ? Don't they have a MTR to SZ? Is it the same price regardless those two ports when requesting VOA?

Are Americans generally accepted?

Zhuhai is pretty close to Macau and SZ is next to HK. Personally, the latter is more worth for a visit. But if you have enough time, you can visit both.

At Hung Hom Station, you can take HK East Rail Line to Lo Wu. Pass the immigration nearby and you will at SZ Luohu. The duration on the East Rail line is around 45min. And yes, the VOA costs the same, CNY168 per person at the two ports.

P.S: I noticed you are from USA. I was told US citizens cannot get VOA at the border. So you'd better apply for a China visa in advance in case.
