shanghai to Beijing to shanghai to Thailand to shanghai to london can I get a 72 hr free transit

Hi Bruce, thank you for your reply.
Just to be clear, my itinerary will be from Shanghai to Beijing back to Shanghai I do have a single entry visa for the first portion of my holiday.
I then want go on to visit Thailand will I be able to use a 72 hour entry in shanghai when I come back from Thailand before I fly home to London?
