About:Chinese Consulates in Germany

I'm a german and want to apply for the working-holiday visa for Hong Kong.

Hey,
The problem is if i want to apply directly via post in HK, I need to pay the fee by a cashier order or a bank draft from a bank which has a connected bank there. My bank does not have a connected bank. There somewhere is said that i could also pay directy at the consulate in Germany. The problem is I find no information about this e.g. where to transfer the fee, what exact amount etc. I called several times different parts of the Chinese consulate in Germany in Frankfurt and Hamburg and all off them told me they have no idea about it. I have found no information except from the requirements and the application.

The different departments and the CVASC in Frankfurt told me I should call 069-75085534 they are reachable Tuesday and Thursday between 3:00-5:00pm. I neither reached them on Tuesday or on Thursday.

It would be so nice if you could help me out, as i really have no idea what to do now.

Best regards,
Viktor

Viktor, you misunderstood it. You actually can submit your application to Chinese consulate that has jurisdiction over your area. Then the consulate collects your fees and send your documents to HK Immigration Department. Finally, if your appilcation is granted, then it will be posted back to the consulate. You just need to collect it at the consulate.

Yes, Chinese embassy or consulate in your country doesn't specify how much it costs. Plus the application fee, you might be required to pay the communciation fee for the consulate to contact HK Immigration Department.

If the phone is unreachable, then I think you should visit the consulate on your own to submit your aplication.
