About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I take the 72 hours visa if I show them my flight ticket back from Dubai to Germany?

Hello
I am german citizen and I am in Dubai right now. I am going to fly back to Germany in middle of July from Dubai as well. I want travel to Shanghai for 3 days and come back to Dubai.

So your route is Dubai-Shanghai-Dubai-Germany? If so, then you are disqualified because place of departure shouldn't be the same as your destination.

Thank you Cindy. Is it ok if I fly back over Kuala Lumpur back to Dubai for example?
