About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Changing from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 at Pudong Airport

If I am flying standby on an international flight out of terminal 1 and the flight is full and I my next flight is out of terminal 2, do I have to go thru the checkin process and customs process again or can you go directly to the gate? Thanks

Yes, you need to go thru the check-in and customs procedures again. Between these terminals, there are free shuttle buses available, you can take that.
