About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hi, I m travelling from delhi to hongkong for 6 day visit, entry visa

My travel agent told me today that I need to carry min 650 USd per person otherwise I vl not be entitled for entry permit as per new norms - came on June 12th. Is it true. Why should we carry USD , I will carry my amount in Hongkong dollars

Dheeraj, in fact, as you hold Indian passport, you can enter Hong Kong freely for a visit less than 14 days. However, it's true that you should have some money at hand to show to the immigration officer. You don't have to take US dollars, HK dollars with the equivalent value is acceptable.
