Bus 867 to Mutianyu

Hi, I am a bit confused with the different version of how bus 867 get you to the Mutianyu Great Wall.

From the quote of wikitravel, "If you still want to get there by bus, it is still possible-you will need to take the bus 867, get off at the Honglousi, the final stop of it, and wait for a special bus service at the return stop of Honglousi (which is opposite the road from the place you get off). The special bus service costs ¥4 each way (¥1.6 with metrocard) and will only depart at 10:00 and 12:00 from Honglousi, and 14:00 and 15:00 from the wall. It costs ¥16 each way (¥6.4 with metrocard) and takes at least 2.5 hr". From your website, it says bus 867 gets you directly there. You only need to go to Honglousi (Honglou Temple) from the wall to get back to Donzhimen. Which version is correct ? Anyone who has take this bus 867 route, please do share your experience. Thank you

SC, I checked the official website of the wall. It's true that there are two 867 buses that go from Dongzhimen to the wall directly. In order to get back to Dongzhimen, you need to reach Hongluo Temple first.

I personally don't suggest you take no.867 bus. You know, there are just two buses so that it will crowded for sure. And it takes around 2.5 hours to reach the wall because it has to stop at many bus stations. It's good t take no.916 bus Express (916 快). It takes around one hours to reach Huairou and then you share a car with other travelers to reach the wall. It takes around 30 minutes an costs around CNY 20 per person.
