Do I need transit type (G) while travelling from Auckland to Islamabad with two layovers?

Hi,
I am currently residing in New Zealand & hold a Pakistani passport. I will be travelling next month from Auckland to Islamabad via China Southern Airlines. As per itinerary as I have two stop one at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (arrival at 0600hrs) with layover time 6h50m & second at Urumqi Diwopu International Airport(Departs at 0855hrs) with layover time of 14h35m. With the mentioned scenario do I need transit visa prior to travel or not.

Thanks,
AM

Aamir, I think you are eligible for the 24h free transit policy, so you don't need to get the transit prior to travel. You can confirm this with the airline or Guangzhou immigration office.
