About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I am planning to apply for the 72 hour visa free transit.

I a US citizen, plans to stay in Beijing. While staying in Beijing, Can I visit Shanghai? Or not?

JB, during 72 hour free transit, you can not leave Beijing territory. So you can't go to Shanghai.
