Double entry visa: 30 days for each entry or 30 days in total?

Hi, I have a double entry tourist type. I am flying to Hong Kong, spending 15 days in mainland China, then coming back to Hong Kong and entering mainland again for 25 days. Is that possible?

Put in other words, does the 30 day limit work for each entry separately or does it count as the total number of days I can stay in the country regardless of the entries?

Thanks a lot!!!

Joan, if duration of stay is 30 days, then it means that you can stay up to 30 days during every entry.

Thanks Daniel!
So as I understand from what you say, spending first 15 days in mainland China and coming out and inside again for 25 more days is possible with a double entry visa is that correct?
Thanks!
