About:Hong Kong MTR Tickets & Fares

Which transportation card in Hong Kong is suitable for me?

Hi, I'm a tourist from Singapore and will be using the MTR to the airport once, to Disneyland and to ocean park. May I know which card would best suit my needs?

Oh, it depends on how many days you stay in HK.
If it's around 3 days. You can buy Airport Express Travel Pass. This kind of card contains one or two Airport Express single journey(s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited travel on MTR/

If it is more than 3 days, you are suggested to buy Standard Octopus Card. You can enjoy some discounts when using this kind of card. :-)

does the airport travel pass is available for usage on buses?

This kind of card only contains the free charge of taking subways in three days. You cannot enjoy the free tickets when taking buses.
But actually, subway is the most convenient transportation is HK. And different subway lines link many popular scenic spots together. So taking subways is more convenient than taking buses.
