What is the best way to travel to ancestral village Baksa/baisha, Taishan city, from Canada?

Would like to visit my fathers ancestral village - baksa/baisha but I do not know how to get there. I am travelling from Canada. Please help

The nearest large airport to the village is in Guangzhou. So you can fly to Guangzhou first, and then change to a long-distance bus to Taishan (the long-distance bus ride takes about 2 hours and CNY65), then change to a local city bus to Baisha. Good luck~

Hiring a private car with a driver from Guangzhou to Baisha, right? It is a little bit farther than 200km between, so it is not that easy to rent one for such a distance. But you can hire one to Taishan first. It costs CNY500-800. Then change to another private car to Baisha Village.
