veg restaurant, is trasit visa needed to get to dazhong airport hotel

Question

Hi I will be transiting from Shanghai on year end with a stop over of 15 hrs onwards and 13 return. I am holding an india passport. Have couple of queries. 1. Are there any restaurants which offer vegeterian food at Airport?2. Does getting to Dazhong Airport Hotel require transit visa or just onward journey boarding pass will do?

1. I’m afraid there is no pure veg restaurant. But I know the Fengjing Restaurant on the 3rd floor, T2. It provides many kinds of Southeastern Asian food. You can order according to your taste. Besides, there are other Chinese restaurants, where you can only order veg. food. 2. The airport is right in the airport. You can straightly reach there by taking the elevator near the Magelev. So no transit visa is needed. Just show them your passprt and the onward boarding pass to check in.
