Is there a consulate for mainland China in Hong Kong?

I've lived on the mainland for 12 years and almost never go back to my home country. I've recently been able to get a 10 year type so I'm starting up a WOFE. I'm told that I need to have a Chinese consulate certify photocopies of my passport. I'm not going to make a trip home to do that, and I don't really want to have to mail my passport and be without it for several weeks. Is there a consulate in Hong Kong where I could get that done?

Molly, as far as I know, there is an Office of the Commissioner of PRC Foreign Affaris Ministry in Hong Kong. The office functions as a consulate in terms of consular affaris, but I don't know whether it offers authentication service to foreigners. You can conact the office for confirmation.
