Traveling to china for a ballet competition

I am an american citizen working in Austria. I was invited to compete at a ballet competition in Beijing. What materials will I need for my Visa?

Hi Pepper! You should apply for an F type. To acquire it, you need to submit the following materials, such as your valid passport, a copy of your passport's photo page, a completely filled application form attached with your recent half-length photo, the original and photocopy of your residence permit in Austria, and an invitation letter from the competition hosting party.
