Not necessarily. The people in the year of dog might be looked down upon because dog is not necessarily a nice word for this animal. Or Snake is a dangerous animal, but the person might not be dangerous. Or even Pig or monkey or cow. These are not friendly animal types, but the person that carries the sign may be very intelligent and wealthy. So the sign alone must be interpreted with careful languages because there's more to the sign than just external appearance or personality.0
