About:Huangshan Mountain

Where can we rent a tent to camp on Mt. Huangshan?

Hello,

Is it also possible to rent (or buy a cheap) sleeping bag?
I think it is the best solution but I don't have camping gears!

Hi, you can rent a tent near the Tianhai Restaurant or the basketball playground near Beihai Hotel. It costs CNY150 per night. I remember they would offer two overcoats and a kettle of hot water for each tent. But it seems there are no sleep bags for rental.

Alternatively, you can stay in a hotel on the peak. Some of them have rooms with 8 berths. The condition is certainly much better than tent and sleep bags. It is not that expensive, CNY80-100 per person for a berth.

As I know, Baiyun Hotel provides rooms with several beds. It costs about CNY 150 per person in usual time. You can book a bed by dialing at 86-0559-5582708. Good luck! :)

I've been searching everywhere for cheap accomodations at the top of the mountain. Where did you find the information on the places with 8 beds?
