About:Hong Kong Airport Express Travel Pass

My 11 y/o child and I will arrive 6am to HK on 6/17 and will leave HK on 6/19 for mainland China.

So basically we will have all day Tue and Wed to sightsee the major tourist attractions. Does it make sense for me to buy the travel pass or should I pay as I go?

As for your case, it is fine to get a regular Octopus Card at the Customer Service Center of any MTR station. It is easy to pay with the card on buses, metro and ferries and you can enjoy some discounts. When leaving HK, you can return it and get back your refund and balance.
