Wuhan to Beijing

I am currently a student at Wuhan University and want to visit a friend in BJ after my exams on July 7th but I have a flight to I must take in Wuhan on the 14th. I was wondering if you could help me figure out the best plane of action (quickest and cheapest) to take. I only plan on staying with my friend for a day or so.
