About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Is it possible to obtain my visa in the Philipines or some other South East Asian country?

or do I need to return to Australia?

I want to visit chiune then go to North Korea, then back to China. I am an Australian but I am travelling through South East Asia. I am currently in the Philipines.

Liam, I am afraid that you may not be able to apply in Philippines. According to the Chinese embassy, you need to provide you resident permit for employment or study in Phillippines. Those who just travel or stay short-term there are required to apply in their own countries.

However, many foreigners applied successfully from Chinese embassy in Thailand. Perhaps, you can go there to apply.
