About:Xian Airport Shuttle Bus

xian city center to airport via subway ?

My flight is planned for 7:30pm but I have to be in the city center until 5pm sharp. Does it leave enough time to arrive at the airport with Taxi?

I am worried about traffic jam...Would using the subway until Houweisan station or bei ke zhan and only then hopping into a taxi be safer ?

Hi, subway+taxi would take much more time. I would suggest you take a taxi directly to the airport. The traffic jam is not severe at 5pm. Just hail a taxi. Ask the driver to move fast and you may arrive at the airport within around 50min. Then go for check in to wait for your flight.

If it is quite late when arriving at the airport, you can ask the airport staff for help. Sometimes they arrange a convenience check-in for urgent cases.
