About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it possible to use the 72-hour visa without collecting my baggage?

I'll be flying from Seoul > Beijing > London. I have a 6-hour stopover and want to briefly leave the airport, maybe look around the city before my onward flight. Or do I have to collect it and then check-in again for my flight to London? Can I ask the airline to send my bags directly to London like they normally would?

Mark, if you are using one airline for the whole route, it's possible that you can leave the airport without collecting luggage. If you are using different airlines, it's hard to say. Anyway, please contact you airline and confirm this.
