About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a visa, or direct 24 h permit is OK?

Hi, I am travelling to Taipei from Rome with 22 h layover in Shanghai , I am a citizen of Serbia. Can I get out of the airport and look around the city? How do I apply, when I get to the ShangHai airport at a special place, or just at the Shanghai airport's immigration counter. Thanks

Marko, the 24-hour direct transit policy is OK for you. During your layover, you can go out of the airport and explore the city. The free trasit can be applied at the airport's immigration counter.
