ferry from hkia to shenzhen shekou

I believe it's impossible for me to catch the last ferry at 9.40pm, following my flight arrival at 8.50pm, considering it's required to be at the ferry 40' before.I should consider staying at the (costly) airport hotel first, after check-out from HKIA.Can I go for the ferry, following morning, without check-in to HKIA?Thanks

No, you cannot. Once you check out of the airport, you cannot use the ferry any more.You don’t need to stay one night there. In the airport, there are buses to SZ till 22:30, you are able to catch one of the buses upon your arrival. .

Thanks Mary for your reply.As V have one child and bags, it would not convenient to take the bus, and specially get out of bus for the immigration process.I then will have to consider booking a private car with driver, going thru the border, and the immigration process, by staying in the car, which willcost US$230..?Thanks again
