About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

driving by car from laos to china. How do we get a visa fast. before the 28th May 2015.

Hi we are retired Australian couple and live in Luang Prabang . We need to renew our Lao visia and would like to drive to Kunming. Robyn

Robyn, as you will enter by your car, you should contact a local travel agency to get an approval from relevant Chinese authorities. Only after that can you apply for the tourist type entry permit. I suggest you entrust the whole affair to the travel agency to facilitate the process. Otherwise, you may not have enough time to get it.
