About:China Visa Application in USA

10 year visa not granted

My daughter, just days ago, applied for a 10 year tourist type. They only gave her one for one year. Are they still available? Any ideas why she didn't get one? (She is an American college student. A friend presented her documents in Chicago, so we don't know why they refused. Perhaps they don't issue them any more???)

John, 10 years L types are still available. Perhaps, the consular officers that your daughter are not qualified for 10 years L type. That's why they just gave a 12 months L type instead.

Seriously, the embassy won't reveal anything for denying someone's application because they have the right.
