About:

benzilan and feilai temple

Hi everybody, i was wondering is my plan about this área factible
day 1. at morning take a bus from Zhongdian to Benzilas, visit Dongzhulin monastery and stay overnight in Benzilan
day 2. at morning take a bus from Bezilan to Diqing, visit Feilai temple and go to aiport (i have a flight to Chengdu at afternoon)

Your arrangement for day 2 is a bit tight. As I know, the Feilai Temple is quite far away from the Diqing airport, how do you arrange the transportation between these two places (about 120 miles). You mentioned you have a flight in the afternoon, and you need to reach the airport at least 2 hours in advance, so your time is not enough. You have two choice, one is to make out a three days travel plan, and the other is to skip off one of these spots, and just visit one.

Thank you very much Luna, unfortunately i done have more days, so i have to decide which spot skip off, i think because of route (Zhongdian-Deqin) is more reasonably skip off Feilai and visit just Benzilan no? Do you maybe know there is some more monasteries near Benzilan?

Well, the more reasonable route is Zhongdian-Benzilan-Deqin County.
But you still don't have enough time.
So it's suggested to go to Benzilan from Zhongdian by bus. The duration is about 5 to 6 hours. After touring around, go back to Zhongdian. And then go to the airport in the next early morning in order to the flight at afternoon.
