About:Qiantang River

I am visiting Hangzhou and wish to see the waves on 5th June 2015 (19th day of lunar month).

Anybody has any idea what is the best time?

There are many sites to view the tide and the time at each site is different. The nearest site to the city urban area is Xiasha Bridge, where the tide time on May 23 is 04:14am and 04:56 pm. There is no forecast of the tide time on June yet. But it should be around 4pm there.

Actually, it's said that 8th, August in Chinese lunar calendar is the best time to see the waves and the best viewing sites are in nearby Haining.
