chinese entry permit info

Question

Hello,I am a British Citizen and I would like to know that can I obtain chinese tourist type or business type in other countries rather than UK. I have already travelled to China many times and the last time visa was issued for me was 6 months M multi entry type. The reason I ask is that I want to travel to china but before travelling I want to visit more countries and apply for Chinese entry permit there. During my China visits I will be travelling to Hong Kong many times. Please also let me know that do I need the invitation letter again for my supporting documents in order to apply for Chinese entry permit. Best regards

Fayaz, you can obtain the mainland China entry permit from other countries. However, since you will be travelling to Hong Kong for many times during the stay, I guess you want a multiple-entry type, right? If so, it cannot be guaranteed that you can get the multiple-entry type one. In addition, if you apply for the tourist L type, the invitation letter is not necessary if you can provide hotel and flight ticket orders. If you apply for the business type, the invitation letter is a must.
