chinese tourist visa application

Hi there, im an australian and im planning to travel to india next week. I am planning on travelling to china from india. How do i apply for a Chinese tourist type? Is it possible to apply in India? Thanks in advance

Nush, it's possible to apply in India, but I personally suggest you apply from Australia. If you apply from Australia, you should take your passport, passport copy, application form, recent photo, and round-ticket and hotel reservations to the CVASC center which is in charge of your residence area. If you apply from India, you should additionally take the original and photocopy of your Indian stay permit to the CVASC there.
