can i get a visa at the arrival?

hello,
i have to attend an important meeting this friday morning between to companies. im now in macau but seems to late to apply for one.
can i get an entry permit at the port of shekou if the company gives a letter explaining the emergency of the meeting? can the the company i m going to trade with contact the shekou port immigration and explain? will that work?
