About:Guangzhou Metro

Travel from Baiyun Airport to Beijing Lu

I arrive at Baiyun Airport at 8pm. I was told to take a shuttle bus from the airport to Haizhu Square and then walk to Beijing Lu (Cost 18RMB). Can I do the same but using the metro from the airport instead? Which one is better? Which one is more expensive? Thanks

You can take the subway line 3 from the airport south to Yantang Station, where you can transfer to Line 6 to Beijing Road Station. The fare is CNY 8 and the travel time is about 50 mins. It is much cheaper than shuttle bus, and you can do less walking. So metro travel mode is suggested.
