About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for the 72-hour visa?

I am a British citizen who is travelling to Shanghai from Manila. I will be arriving Friday 22nd at 00.05 and leaving Sunday 25th at 01.05.

If you fly in and fly out, then you are eligible for the 72-hour free transit.

Thanks. Is it absolutely relevant that my flight leaves and returns to and from Manila? There is no third country.

Sorry, if there is no a third country, this route is not OK for the 72-hour free transit.
