Dear Sir or Madam,Id like to visit the wall from Pentahotel. Can you give me direction which transportation mode (bus or train) will be more convenient in terms of walking distance from the bus top to the wall or train exit to the wall?How to get there from both transportation and which bus no (back and forth) and line number for train (back and forth) I shall take?WHere i can find train schedule to the wall to avoid long waiting time?What time is the operational hours in the wall and the bus or train operational hours to and from the wall?Big thanks,Intanti

Intanti, your hotel is very close to Chongwenmen Subway Station. You can walk to the subway station and then take subway line 2 and get off at Xizhimen Station. Get out from Exit E2 and walk to Beijing North Railway Station. There you can take S2 train to Badaling. If you plan to take bus, you should take subway line 2 to reach Jihuitan Station, get out from A and cross the road and then walk along to reach Deshengmen. There you can take bus no. 919 or 877 to reach the wall. S2 train departs at 06:12, 08:34, 09:02, 10:57, 12:42, 13:14, 13:35, 15:24, 17:11, 17:41, 18:39, 19:11, 21:28, 22:03, 22:36. It passes the wall station and returns to Beijing at 08:20, 10:48, 11:47, 13:33, 14:58, 15:43, 16:14, 17:30, 19:31, 19:55 and 21:31. The wall is open from o6:30 to 19:00 (summer) and 07:00 to 18:00. Bus no. 877:06:00-12:00 (Apr.1-Oct.31)06:00-12:30 (Nov.1-Mar.31)Returns10:30-17:00 (Apr.1-Oct.31) 11:00-16:30 (Nov.1-Mar.31)
