About:Beijing Taxi

North Chaoyang to West Railway station or Beijing Railway station: what's closer?

I will be staying at the Best Western Olympic Stadium in north Chaoyang. Will be going to Changsha by night train, and have option of booking train out of West Station or BJ Railway Station. Which is faster by taxi from my hotel?

BJ Railway station is nearer, so you are suggested to go to that station. You can walk from your hotel to the Beishatan Subway Station to take the line 15 to Olympic Green, where you can transfer to line 8 to Gulou Dajie, then transfer to Line 2 to the railway Station.

If you take a taxi the whole way, it may cost you CNY55 around and take about 25 mins. This way saves the trouble of transfer.

Thanks, that was helpful. I will be traveling with seniors so will go the taxi option.
