What type of VISA will my son visiting Beijing on invitation from AIESEC (University exchange )

My son completing his 1 year of Engineering in Manipal University, India, has been invited by AIESEC, a student learning and exchange progamme which has brnaches in many universities in the world. His stay is for 30 days and AIESEC RUC in Mainland of China has sent the invitation. During his learning & social service, he may be taken to other places as well by AIESEC associates. Chinese AIESEC counterpart suggested it is Tourist F. Please suggest if it is same or different.

Yes, your son should get the F type.

Thanks for the prompt reply. But the person who sent the invitation suggested to take TOURIST VISA - F. There is some confusion, as F comes under business (non-commercial category) as per the table above. Kindly clarify so that we do not waste any time by way of corrections in the VISA application.

Hey, I think the person may make some mistakes. It is the F type needed in your son's situation, but not a tourist type F. The tourist entry permit falls into the L category, which is not suitable for your son. The non-business F type can be used for intershinps, cultural exchange, or something of the similar nature.
