I am travelling Taipei - Shanghai - HK. Can i leave wine in shanghai airport in left luggage?

If I clear immigration I will be required to pay the duty. I am hoping to avoid this.

Well, first of all, the luggage storage counters are located at Departure Hall and Arrival Hall. To take the left-luggage service, you have to clear the immigration first. So if you take too much, you have to pay tax and it cannot be avoided.

P.S. According to the regulation, you are allowed to bring 1,500 ml ( above the degree of alcohol of 12 ) wine. If you carry on more than that, you need to pay the duty. for the the extra parts :-)
