what is the best way to go from pudong international airport to intercontinental hotel ??

As I know, there are two intercontinental Hotels in that City, which one do you refer to?
If you mean the InterContinental Puxi, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 5 to SH railway Station, which is about 320 yards walking distance from your hotel.
If you refer to InterContinental Pudong, you can take the subway line 2 from the hotel to Century Avenue, take the Exit 12 and walk about 730 yards to the hotel.
