About:Kunming Airport Transportation

transport from airport to jin bi square

our flght arrive around 5pm. we would to go to jin bi square. we are a family of 4 adults n 1 child (11 yrs). can all of us get in 1 taxi? i think its cheaper than shuttle bus which costs 25 per person. or any better, cheaper options? thanks

If the driver allow all of you in one cab, it's of course a cheap way. But I'm afraid you need two of them, which will cost more.

If you do not like the airport shuttle, you can also walk to Airport North Bus Station to take city bus 919B1 to Huguoqiao, then walk to the square. The bus fare is CNY13 per person.

how far is Jin bi square from the east bus station. I understand that there is a metro service from airport to that station and it only costs 5 yuen per person. If it is not that far, we probably can take city bus from the station.

The distance from the East bus station to the square is about 7 miles. Upon arrival, you can walk to Hongqiao Overbridge East to take bus 50 to Huguoqiao, then walk to your destination. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes.
