flexibility of ittinerary

hi i want to do this itinerary by myself but i will start in Shangai (i booked my trip to get to shangai and departure from beijing) i can take all the high speed train in reverse? or i would have a problem with that? additionally where i can book the train tickets? and which are the best options? i want to do this exactly tour, i am traveling in December 2015

Most trains in China are running in both directions, so it won't be a problem if you do the itinerary in reverse. High speed railway service are available for the route except for Chongqing-Xian, which only has ordinary rail service. For the detailed schedule, you can search by yourself on this website, which also book ticket for travelers. Actually, they are one of the bests among others for booking railway tickets. Have fun~
