About:Zhangjiajie Travel

Weather for 21-26May of Zhangjiajie

I am looking to go from 21-26. However the weather forecast says it is likely going to rain from 23-25, is it not advisable to go during these dates then. Also will it be more convenient to travel there from Shanghai or from Guangzhou? Tks!

Hi, it will be mainly cloudy. The weather forecast only shows there will be moderate rain on May. 23. And on May 25-26, it is just shower which only lasts for a while. So it is fine to visit during that time. In addition, the temp would range from 20C to 28C. You are suggested to prepare long-sleeved shirt and t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and simple rainy gear.

It is almost the same to travel there from Shanghai and Guangzhou, because both of the cities have direct train and flight connection to this area. The only difference is that Guangzhou is much closer.
