About:Exit Regulations of China

i have a girlfriend who is living in china she wants to come visit the USA

She has a passport and a visa but the travel agency told us she would have to have 2700.00 to broad the plane to show she can have travel expenses. is this ture?

David, I didn't hear about this before. All I know is that Chinese people who visit USA by taking group tours arranged by agencies are required t hand over 50000 to 300000 RMB to the agency as the deposit. Once they get back, their money will be returned. If she travels to USA alone, I think she needn't have to take 2700 as travel expense.
