how to transfer working visaresident permit into new passport

Question

I'd like to know if it's possible to transfer z-type or resident permit into my new passport. The Z-type and the resident permit are valid and gonna expire in June 20th  but i'd like to have the new resident permit in the new passport. By the way I got the two passport with me.what is the procedure of transferring the permit or the Z-type into the new passport without leaving china?

Hey, Mitchell. You don't have to do anything. The Z type is only valid for thirty days, so it is expiry. You just need the resident permit and the RP is valid. Even though you renewed you passport, the resident permit can be used.
